Veils of the morning
cover the surroundings
in shy grandeur.
A supreme sight to behold
and seize the silence
which hence shall never be.
A perfect time to listen
to nature’s opera
when beating hearts lie still.
A joy to hear
the crickets compete tunelessly
with the buzzing bees.
A lazy walk reveals
the lake water lapping
against the empty shore.
O! The mysteries of nature,
so many to decode before
the morning lifts her veils up.
