She sighs behind dark veils of a sparkling gown,
Knowing the fair maiden, coming next, is loved.
Her hushed catwalk is greeted with weary frown,
She cloaks whispers in an enigmatic shroud.
Never does she aspire for a golden crown,
Her shrinking, tainted tiara does her proud.
Her lyrical lullabies gently flow down,
When she must, the night queen departs, her head bowed.
Note: This poem personifies the moon and the night sky.
